Minor gangraped by juveniles for three days

JAIPUR: A 14-year-old dalit girl from Sikar was allegedly kidnapped and gangraped for three days by four juveniles in Khetri town of Jhunjhunu
district. All the accused have been absconding after the incident.
According to sources, Aarti (name changed), a resident of Govindpura village under Neem Ka Thana police station of Sikar, was returning home after attending nature's call on Friday night. Four boys of the same village intercepted her on the way and two of them forcibly put her on a motorcycle.
They took her to an abandoned shop in Khetri town, around 50 kilometres from their native village and gangraped her. They then threatened her of dire consequences and locked her in a shop. They repeatedly raped her for three days.
On Sunday night, two of the accused took her back to Sikar and dropped her outside the village. The girl then managed to reach her home and narrated the whole incident to the family.
DySP Dilip Saini told TOI that the girl was sent for medical examination. Sources said she was a student of Class IX and was known to the accused, who belong to the same village.
However, it is not known how she was taken to Khetri on a motorcycle without anybody seeing her.
In fact, it was the second gangrape of a dalit girl in a span of six months. On August 15, 2009, a 20-year-old girl was kidnapped and raped by three youths while returning from Government Kamla Modi College at Neem Ka Thana to her native village, Narsinghpuri, after attending the Independence Day celebrations.
Later, the police arrested the mastermind Gopi Chand, who had fled to Bhuj in Gujarat, besides two others.
