Youth stabbed to death over love affair

JAIPUR: A 23-year-old youth was stabbed to death allegedly over his affair with a girl in the city on Sunday.
According to the police, the victim, Deepak alias Devilal Teli, was working as a salesman at a garment shop.
“On Sunday, Deepak told the shopowner that if anybody calls up, he should tell the caller that he was not there in the shop,” said Gauri Shankar Sharma, Manak Chowk police station incharge.
Later, a girl called on the landline but the shopowner, Shyam, told her that Deepak was not there. Later, a young man came to the shop asking for Deepak, who went out with him.
When he returned, blood was pouring out of a stab wound on his stomach. Shyam rushed him to SMS Hospital, where he died. Police said the motive behind the murder was the affair of the girl with Deepak.
