Mount abu is the only hill station in Rajasthan. It is about 180 km away from Jodhpur. Mount abu is more than just a summer retreat. Its also a pilgrimage place as well as hill station site. Besides the temples and sites of historical importance, Mount abu also rich in natural scenic beauties. Abu’ according to a legend. stands for the son of Himalayan, deriving its name from Arbuada, the powerful serpent who rescued Nandi, the sacred bull of Lord Shiva, from a chasm.
